What is Psychological Assessment?

A Psychological Test is a standardized procedure to measure quantitatively or qualitatively one or more than one aspect of trait by means of a sample of verbal and non-verbal behaviour.

Psychological Assessment is a broad area which includes intelligence, personality, projective tests, and neuropsychological assessment.
A psychological assessment is the attempt of a skilled professional, usually a Clinical Psychologist/Psychologist, to use the techniques and tools of psychology.

Procedure of Psychological Assessment:

Psychological assessment is used to diagnose or measure various part of Mental Health same as Blood Test, C.T. Scan and M.R.I to measure Physical Health.
But in Psychological Test there is no use of injectable utensils or any kind machine. Psychological assessment is totally based on questionnaire, performance/activity and projective test.
